Hi Soul-Friends, welcome to another solo episode of Minutes on Growth. A couple of weeks ago, as I was navigating through a bubble of confusion, I felt a sudden urge to reach out to my spiritual mentor at the Kabbalah centre. He informed me that the foundational course Kabbalah 1 for the first time ever was taking place online, being taught by Marcus Weston and that it was starting within 2 hours. Could that have been a coincidence? I don’t think so. I took this as an immediate sign from the universe to enrol in this transformational program once again(for the third time I must add), to remind myself of all the practical tools that I can use in my day to day life to enhance not only the quality of my life, but my overall state of consciousness. I have spent the past 8 weeks, signing in for an hour a week listening to my teacher remind us of how magical life is. Reminding us that nothing is a coincidence and that everything is divinely orchestrated. He’s been reminding us that every challenge that comes up in our life is an opportunity for us to grow from. We always have the choice to either respond with awareness and to use that challenge for our highest vision, or to allow the ego to keep us stagnant and stuck in old patterns.

Last week, even though my course has not finished yet, I decided to enrol in the second Kabbalah 1 class taught by another teacher , the amazing David Ghiyam, that is taking place online , because while the material is the same, there is a major difference in the way teachers explain them, and there is always something new to learn. There is an abundance of wisdom that is being shared through different people all the time. & I was not wrong. On the first day of class, David reminded me of a practical tool that I often times forget about. The power of Pause. In Kabbalah, we’re taught that the only way we can move forward is by not reacting. When we react, it is our ego that is narrating the story. It is our goal to silence and transcend the ego, & to allow for the soul and the light to shine.

So in other words, whenever we’re feeling doubt, anger or lack and we’re triggered, and we want to react a certain way, we PAUSE instead. Once we’ve paused, we need to rejoice in our pause. We need to let the universe know that we are happy to pause. Some argue that this is similar to suppressing your emotions or bottling it up. But it’s not. When a situation arises that triggers us, when a challenge arises, we want to pause, we want to express our pleasure in the pause because we know that this challenge means that our soul is READY to transcend to the next level. This is a test from the universe to see if we’re ready to grow. If we pause, and allow the light, god, source, energy to guide us, we evolve. If however, the ego reacts, we stay in the same situation, and the pattern once again continues. Every challenge is an opportunity. Every single challenge.

Is pausing easy? not really, but it’s important that we try. No matter how many times we fail by reacting, we allow ourself to try again. Our purpose in life is to evolve. Our purpose in life is to leave it better than how we entered it. If you’re listening to this episode, I know that you believe this too.

I want to add that all that I just said is simply my perspective. Is it 100% right? Probably not. No one’s perspective is 100% right, it’s simply their perspective. But let me ask you think, what world would you rather live in? In a world where challenges are perceived as opportunities for growth or in a world where challenges push you into a victimhood consciousness – where you believe that the universe is punishing you or that you’re not worthy of lets say a quote on quote easy life? I choose to be in the first category because the first belief empowers me to grow.

So today, just for today, are you wiling to shift your perspective to look at every challenge through a new light? Are you willing to silence the ego to allow the light to come in? Are you willing to not react and simply pause?

Thank you for listening, Speak soon.

Episode 37 – How To Change Your Life by Tannaz Hosseinpour

Hey soul-friends,

It’s your host Tannaz Hosseinpour, and Welcome to another episode of Minutes on Growth. I want to talk quickly about mindset. I hear this question quite often “How can I change my life.” While there isn’t one pill that can solve that over night, we can pinpoint a major truth that can shed light on the situation.

Your reality is a reflection of your inner stories. To change your life, you need to change your stories.

You need to become aware of your inner critic, and notice the times it narrates your life.

𝑬𝒂𝒔𝒊𝒆𝒓 𝒔𝒂𝒊𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒏 𝒅𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕?

A lot of the time, we don’t even know what stories we carry within us.

They’re so deeply rooted that we are unaware of their existence.

In other words, we are on auto pilot.

So when do we become aware?

𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙬𝙚’𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙜𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙!

Sometimes the trigger happens after having a conversation with a friend, new experiences, reading a book, watching a video, listening to a podcast, advice from a coach or mentor etc.

Or sometimes life throws us a huge curve ball that forces us to change.

In these moments, it’s important to 𝐠𝐨 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧.

To look for reoccurring patterns and to ask yourself why.
To realize that the old stories no longer serve us.

To acknowledge that the old beliefs, perspectives, thoughts and opinions are actually holding us back from achieving our true desires, from living our highest visions.

So if you notice yourself struggling in an area in your life, don’t be afraid to question it. Ask yourself why it is manifesting in the physical realm. What belief do you need to let go off for this reality to change?

𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆.

Unfortunately, the majority of people tend to underestimate the power of their mind, and the power that lies within them. They tend to stay within their comfort zone, within lack.

If you want to live your truest and highest self, you need to step outside of victimhood & claim that extraordinary power that is 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂.

Today, I want you to know that 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞

You always have a choice.

You are powerful beyond measure.

So, the question that remains is, are you ready to tap into YOUR super power?

I know you are otherwise you wouldn’t be listening to this right now.

I know you can do it.

Sending you love. Thank you for listening, speak soon.

Episode 35 – No AttrACTION without Action by Tannaz Hosseinpour

Hey soul-friends,

It’s your host Tannaz Hosseinpour, and Welcome to another episode of Minutes on Growth.

One of my favourite topics to talk about and do workshops on is decluttering the mind and manifesting. I believe that mastering the art of decluttering is one of the strongest foundations for personal development and growth. However, I’ve noticed that almost every single time I finish a talk on this topic, I get the same question at the end – the question is “I’ve stopped thinking negatively and I’ve been focusing on positive thoughts but I’m still not manifesting my desires”.

I understand this question so well — Growing up, I witnessed a lot people in my life be super positive but not be able to manifest their desires.

Let me ask you this – If you’re a student and you have an exam coming up – if all you do is ask the universe for good grades, and just meditate or feel relaxed – will you get a good grade? No. You cannot get good grades without actually putting in the work and studying.

Yes – asking the universe for good grades will plant the seed of intention into your subconscious. By saying it out Loud, you let the universe know that you feel deserving and worthy of it and it will boost your self confidence.

Yes – by meditating and feeling relaxed, your mind will be able to better absorb the information as its not in a state of fear. The more relaxed you are before and during the exam, the better you’ll do

But without the 3rd component – of actually showing up to study – chances are you won’t do that well.

So use this analogy with all your intentions and goals. Ask yourself, when you set a goal..

Are you showing up to your life every single day to the best of your ability? Your best can be different every single day – some days you might be on fire and supercharged – some days you might feel like you need a break – but as long as you SHOW UP to the best of YOUR ability- that all that matters. It’s important to SHOW UP & take action. The word action is in attraction – you can’t have one without the other.

Ask yourself, am I acknowledging the fears that I’m having right now — what baby steps can I take towards the ones that I do have control over?

If I want to make x amount of money, and I’ve set the intention and I’ve surrendered it to the universe, and I walk with faith and trust — am I actually showing up to my life by taking action? am I working on my skills? am I open to opportunities? am I willing to listen to the universe when it is speaking to me through family/friends and random coincidences.

If I want to become fit and healthy, am I mindful of my eating habits? Am I trying to put in 30 minutes of movement every day? Am I drinking enough water?

If I want to attract ” the one”, am I working on becoming an embodiment of my desires by working on my personality traits – am I putting myself out there? am I open to meeting my significant other online? and so on..

So if you’re listening to this episode, I kindly ask that today, just for today, you show up to your own life to the best of your ability. and you keep doing this , day after day. Stop waiting – stop procrastinating – stop asking the world for permission – you are the author of your own life! You can attract the life of your dreams – you just need to take action – consistently – one step at a time.

Thank you for listening, speak soon.

Episode 33 – Resistance to Setting Intentions by Tannaz Hosseinpour

Hey soul-friends,

Welcome to another episode of Minutes on Growth. I’m your host Tannaz Hosseinpour and today I want to talk about personal resistance.

I’ve been thinking a lot about intentions – how we set them, why we set them and how we can actually release them into the universe so that they can come to fruition. I’ve noticed that there is a lot of hesitation when setting intentions during hard times, especially intentions related to material wealth. When life is flowing and going exactly as we’d like it to, there is less resistance to asking and manifesting. Somehow, the words flow out easier and we have more trust in the process. But when life feels difficult, for example during a pandemic, or a financial crisis, we think twice before setting them.

In Kabbalah, they introduce us early on to a word that I believe holds immense power: certainty. They argue that we need to live and breathe life with certainty. We need to believe at all times, that everything is from the divine source, from light, from god, from the universe.

Certainty I believe is the element we need to add to the equation when resistance is involved. Realizing that the fear that holds us back from setting and releasing an intention is just the inner neighbour, the inner critic within our mind that wants us to have doubt. The inner critic that thrives on drama. The inner critic that takes us away from our truth. The inner critic that preoccupies our mind with so much clutter, that we no longer see certainty. we no longer feel connected to the universe.

In those moments of resistance, let us shift our focus and awareness onto certainty. Let us know that the universe always has our back. Let us know that the universe will always support us. Let us walk with full trust and certainty – knowing that what we have released will come to fruition. Today, let us set intentions without focusing on the how — let us surrender to the unknown with certainty.

Thank you for listening, speak soon.
